The Medical Assistant provides essential administrative and clinical support to the care team, focusing on efficient primary health care delivery and ensuring a positive patient experience. Key duties include patient intake, administering injections and vaccines, performing routine tests, and assisting with medical procedures and room preparation.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of a Medical Assistant program, with MA certification being preferred. Essential abilities include clear communication, maintaining confidentiality, reacting calmly in emergencies, and proficiency in patient care procedures, vital sign measurement, and EHR documentation.
