The Infection Prevention & Control Nurse will lead efforts by developing and monitoring infection control reports, conducting various audits like hand hygiene, and ensuring compliance with best practices in areas like Central Processing. This role also involves providing ongoing staff education and serving as a resource for infection-related patient concerns.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure, balancing direct patient care (approximately 75% of the role) with leading infection prevention efforts (approximately 25%). Preferred qualifications include experience in infection prevention or perioperative nursing, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
We are seeking a self-driven Infection Prevention & Control Nurse (IPIC) to lead and support infection prevention efforts within our surgery center. This role requires a proactive individual who takes initiative, follows through, and continuously looks for opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
