The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments and behavioral health care, supporting clients in directing their own health care experiences through assessment, intervention, education, and resource linkage. Duties include using age-appropriate skills, assisting members with cost-effective care plans, promoting patient-centered multi-disciplinary care, and maintaining documentation per policy.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree and hold a current unrestricted license in the state of practice (LCSW/LPCC/LMFT), along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a required National Provider Identifier (NPI). Required experience includes one year in a mental health setting, with a preference for three to five years of related experience in environments like FQHCs or outpatient clinics.
