The role involves leading direct nursing care by adhering to established clinical protocols to ensure safe, high-quality patient treatment. Responsibilities include creating and managing comprehensive patient care plans, monitoring conditions, and coordinating with medical disciplines for seamless care and personalized discharge transitions.
Minimum requirements include possessing a Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Kansas Board of Nursing and having a Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at hire. A BLS Provider certification (AHA or ARC) is required within one month of the hire or transfer date.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead direct nursing care by following established clinical protocols to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality treatment. Create and manage comprehensive patient care plans, monitoring clinical conditions to provide proactive and responsive medical support. Support the patient’s recovery journey by coordinating with all medical disciplines to ensure a seamless and well-integrated care experience. Coordinate personalized discharge transitions with the healthcare team to prepare patients and families for a safe return home
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
