The role is responsible for performing various diagnostic tests on patients of all ages, including rooming patients and documenting medical history and visual acuity. This position will also cross-train in ophthalmology specialties and assist ophthalmologists with patient exams and procedures.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and no prior experience is necessary as training will be provided, though a genuine interest in the ophthalmic or medical field is essential. Candidates must obtain CPR certification within 60 days and Medication Aide licensure within 90 days of employment.
