The Nurse Practitioner provides healthcare to individuals, families, and groups across the life span, demonstrating critical thinking and leadership in direct patient care under physician supervision. They assess, manage common acute illnesses, and handle stable chronic conditions while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree and hold a current Oklahoma NP RN license along with BLS certification. The role requires practicing in an expanded role, managing patient care across various settings in accordance with the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
