The role involves demonstrating successful patient and technical imaging skills by producing various radiological procedures while adhering to the highest standards of patient care and safety guidelines. Responsibilities also include maintaining required licensure, continuing education, and competency levels for patient exams across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree or completion of an accredited 2-year program in Radiologic Technology, along with proficiency in x-ray equipment, PACS, and radiology information systems. Required credentials include ARRT-R certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire, and licensure by the state of Ohio.
Education Associate’s Degree (Required) or Completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology with appropriate Certification. (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Clear knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital/analog), image printers, computers, PACS and radiology information system. (Required proficiency) Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
