The Home Care Assistant will provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and physical lifting, while also assisting participants with Instrumental ADLs like laundry and light meal preparation in their homes. This role also involves measuring and documenting vital signs, acting as a medical escort for appointments, and carrying out prescribed home exercise programs.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalency and current Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aid Certification, and must be registered with the Home Care Registry prior to starting. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred, and bilingual skills are also preferred.

Our Home Care Assistants are a vital part of our team, providing aid to our participants in their homes as well as contributing to the care planning process as a member of our interdisciplinary team (IDT). Reporting to the Home Care Supervisor, the Home Care Assistant will provide safe delivery of personal care services to WelbeHealth participants in their home, as scheduled and directed.
