Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC)

• (All licenses must be active in the state of Ohio and maintained per continuing education requirements.) Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong clinical knowledge in behavioral health and treatment planning
• Ability to manage complex cases and crisis situations
• Experience working in interdisciplinary care environments
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and compliance skills
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support lower-level providers
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with external agencies

Work Schedule • Monday – Friday

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekend work as needed

Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role may require

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 60+ lbs occasionally)
• Exposure to secure/correctional and clinical environments
• Working with patients who may have behavioral or psychiatric conditions
• Use of appropriate protective equipment when required
