The physical therapist is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and providing physical therapy services to patients of all ages. They also communicate and document treatment results and serve as a resource for the team.
Candidates must have a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and an Oklahoma Physical Therapy license. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire.
Responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and rendering physical therapy services to patients/clients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes; provide prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion. Communicate and document results of treatment including patients’ progress toward established goals according to department’s policies and procedures. The incumbent serves as a resource person for the team and the department; participates in orientation of new staff therapists, physicians and other health personnel. The physical therapist works within practice guidelines as defined by Oklahoma state law.
Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Oklahoma Physical Therapy license. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
