Physicians are responsible for interpreting various diagnostic imaging studies and performing image-guided procedures for Interventional Radiology roles, while Advanced Practice Providers assist with Interventional Radiology and procedural services, including patient evaluations and coordination of care.
Physicians must hold an MD or DO, be Board Certified or Eligible in Radiology, and preferably have fellowship training for subspecialty roles, along with eligibility for Illinois medical licensure. Advanced Practice Providers require graduation from an accredited PA or NP program and active or eligible Illinois licensure, with Radiology or Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
