The veterinary technician will support doctors by performing clinical procedures, including diagnostics, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring. They are also responsible for triaging patients, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing compassionate communication to clients.
The ideal candidate should have 1-2+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital and possess strong technical and patient handling skills. A certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred but not strictly required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.

This position is primarily based in Elgin, while also providing leadership support across our three locations: East Dundee, Elgin, and Algonquin.
This is a hands-on leadership role offering a dynamic caseload, collaborative environment, and the opportunity to help guide team workflow, elevate patient care, and support technician development.
