Maintains respiratory and cardiac status of patients awakening from anesthesia while providing skilled nursing services and direct resident care. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate treatment plans and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Requires a Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification (within 12 months of hire). An associate degree in nursing is required, though a bachelor's degree and perianesthesia certification are preferred.
This position maintains adequate respiratory and cardiac status of patients awakening from anesthesia. Continually assesses the patient, carries out doctor's orders while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
