Provides patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services, including the monitoring of pharmacotherapy and drug information. Acts as a drug expert and consultant for physicians and nursing staff while reviewing all drug orders.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a valid State of California Pharmacist license. Candidates must have either one year of Pharmacy Residency or two years of work experience.
Provides delivery of patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services, drug information and monitoring of pharmacotherapy, generally under pharmacy protocol. Reviews all drug orders and checks all work completed by ancillary personnel in the department. Serves as drug expert and consultant to physicians, nursing staff and other hospital personnel.
