• Mesilla Valley Hospital is seeking a talented and dynamic IOP Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!
• Shift/Days: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday, 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM; Tuesday OR Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mesilla Valley Hospital has been in operation since 1987, serving those in need of treatment for a variety of psychiatric and substance abuse issues.

Position Summary

The Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)Therapist provides therapeutic functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to achieve their optimal level of emotional health. Consultation, teaching, individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention, information and referrals as needed are provided.

Qualifications

Experience/Education

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field and possess one of the following
• New
• Mexico licenses: licensed professional mental health counselor (LPC); licensed master's social worker (LMSW); or licensed mental health counselor (LMHC)', licensed clinical social work (LCS W); licensed professional clinical mental health counselor (LPCC); or licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), A minimum of one year of clinical and chemical dependency counseling experience preferred.
• SKILLS: Must have strong clinical assessment skills and have knowledge of therapeutic planning and techniques.
