The Polysomnographic Technologist performs various sleep diagnostic procedures, including PSG, MSLT, and CPAP titrations, while ensuring patient safety and equipment maintenance. They are also responsible for scoring studies, managing patient appointments, and providing education on sleep disorders and equipment.
Applicants must hold a current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential from the BRPT. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for this role.
