The Physical Therapy Technician assists therapists in performing rehabilitation procedures and supports center operations by managing schedules and records. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean environment and monitoring patients for any abnormal reactions to treatment.
The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise or Health Sciences. Candidates should ideally possess CPR and First Aid certifications and have prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.) Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED
