The Advanced Practice Provider delivers comprehensive medical services, including physical exams, diagnostic testing, and minor surgical procedures under physician supervision. They are responsible for patient care management, documentation, and educating patients on individualized care plans.
Candidates must hold a current North Carolina PA or NP license, a DEA certificate, and have at least one year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are required to support clinical operations and patient-centered care.
The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), under the supervision of the Physician, is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. Under a physician’s supervision, the PA/NP is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments (e.g., suturing, casting and minor surgery), monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting physicians, and counseling and educating patients.
Graduation from an accredited program. Current State of North Carolina PA or NP licensure/certification required. Current DEA certificate required. Board Certification if applicable.
