The Certified Medical Assistant provides patient care and clinical support under the direction of a physician or Advanced Practice Provider in an ambulatory setting. Key duties include gathering patient data, assisting with examinations, administering medications, and managing clinical documentation.
Candidates must be high school graduates with a Medical Assistant certification or at least one year of verifiable experience in a patient care setting. Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification and a valid certification from a recognized agency (e.g., CCMA, CMA, RMA) are required.
