Position Summary

Delta is currently hiring for Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) Shifts: FT & PT 9a-3p, 3p-11p & 11p-9a Must have Intellectual Disability (IDD/DDD) Support Experience. Applicants must be willing to provide hands-on personal care, including assistance with toileting and maintaining personal hygiene. Help maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for each individual. Document all relevant information about the individuals you support while on shift. Attend mandated trainings and meetings to become proficient in supporting I/DD individuals. Supervise, report on, document, and assist individuals who may have behavioral or medical concerns Assist individuals in living a quality life by helping them complete daily routines such as eating, toileting, showering, meal prep, and recreation. QualificationsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) One (1) year of caregiving work history Valid driver's license with three (3) years of satisfactory driving history Minimum requirements Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain composure in high-pressure or crisis situations. Ability to build trusting, supportive, and respectful relationships with individuals receiving services. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and all required pre-employment screenings Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain composure in high-pressure or crisis situations.
