The Medical Assistant will support providers and nurses by performing clinical services, including vital signs, blood draws, and EKGs, while ensuring efficient patient workflows. They are responsible for maintaining exam rooms, documenting treatment plans in electronic health records, and providing patient education.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited program. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a valid California driver's license with proof of insurance are also required.

The Medical Assistant will support various providers, advanced providers, and registered nurses to provide excellent patient-centered care and services within a dynamic team environment. This role will communicate with patients and performs clinical services to ensure high quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
**This opportunity is for a Float Medical Assistant role supporting the Central Region (all Escondido and San Marcos). This role will be expected to float between these sites based on organizational needs.**
$24.95 to $34.93 per hour, depending on experience.
This Float Medical Assistant role will include an additional $2.00 per hour float differential on top of the standard Medical Assistant pay rate.
The posted salary range reflects the designated pay grade for this position. While this range represents the broader classification of the role, actual compensation will be based on several factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s overall knowledge, skills, and experience, market data and industry benchmarks, internal equity within the organization, Budgetary considerations and organizational needs. As a result, placement within the range is not guaranteed, and the full pay grade range may not be utilized.
