The Pediatric Palliative Care Social Worker provides ongoing psychosocial assessments and interventions to support pediatric patients and their families. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate counseling, education, and advanced care planning.
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work and possess LICSW or LCSW licensure. Experience working with children, families, and individuals with life-threatening or chronic conditions is required.

Reporting to the Palliative Care Clinical Manager, Pediatric Palliative Care Social Worker is responsible for providing ongoing psychosocial assessments and advocate for interventions that alleviate burden and facilitate coping for assigned pediatric palliative care patients and their families. The Pediatric Palliative Social worker participates in family support, teaching, counseling, education, and advanced care planning in collaboration with the pediatric palliative care interdisciplinary team.

The Pay Range listed is the anticipated hiring range of this position. Precise pay rates are determined through consideration of one or more of the following: education, training, relevant experience and work location. There are some cases in which the pay rate could exceed the range listed on this job post. Pay Range $38—$44 USD
