The role involves serving as a primary care provider for geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility, where duties include planning, directing, and evaluating patient medical care, as well as examining and treating chronic and urgent illnesses and minor injuries. Providers will also order and interpret diagnostic testing, collaborate with caregivers, and maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
Candidates must possess an Arkansas NP or PA license and DEA certification. While one or more years of advanced practice experience is preferred, less experienced providers will be considered on an individual basis.

This organization is a leading provider of integrated medical services, caring for individuals from post-hospitalization to “home” in various settings, such as skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). They bring quality medical care to the geriatric population, as well as people with complex conditions, special needs, and intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Their providers make a dramatic impact in increasing quality of life and safeguarding the dignity of those they serve.
Serve as a primary care provider for geriatric patients located in one (1) skilled nursing facility (SNF).
A low volume of patients will be seen per day, allowing ample time to provide proper attention and support for the patients.
The practice uses an EHR on a mobile-based platform and providers are supported by dedicated team members who assist with orders, referrals, etc.
Providers share on-call responsibilities, which is phone triage only and light volume. Providers are on call no more than 3 nights per month and flexibility in scheduling is offered.
