The therapist will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish diagnostic impressions for clients. They are also responsible for developing and implementing personalized treatment plans through psychotherapy.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field. Additionally, they must possess or be eligible for Wisconsin state licensure such as LCSW, LPC, LPC-IT, or CAPSW.
Education: Required: Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or other closely related mental health discipline. Licensure Requirements: Wisconsin state certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training (LPC-IT) or Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (CAPSW) licensure Must be eligible for Medical Assistance, Medicare (if applicable) and other third-party reimbursement. Other Requirements: Willingness to work some evening hours are required. Maintain eligibility to practice and active status with your licensing board through the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing.
