The program assistant provides daily hands-on care for kittens in the nursery, including feeding, cleaning, and administering medical treatments. They also assist in training volunteers and managing the intake and foster placement processes for the kittens.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and previous experience handling animals, preferably in a veterinary setting. A valid California driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are also required.

Someone that truly believes in animal welfare and is ready to make an impact by providing daily hands-on support for the Kitten Nursery volunteers and kittens residing in the Kitten Nursery. You have excellent attention to detail and ensure kittens are fed and cleaned throughout the daily shifts. You’ll assist with kittens going to Foster Care from the nursery, stocking necessary supplies, and training new Kitten Nursery volunteers.
This job has no supervisor responsibilities.
