The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for preparing medications for patient administration and maintaining pharmacy inventory. They also perform various administrative and operational functions to support the Pharmaceutical Services Department.
Candidates must hold a current California Pharmacy Technician license. Two years of inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred.
Utilizes the appropriate technique to prepare medications to be dispensed for patient administration Performs a variety of activities/services to maintain an adequate inventory of pharmacy supplies and medications both in the pharmacy and in the patient care areas Performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the Pharmaceutical Services Department Note: This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Required Current California Pharmacy Technician license Preferred 2 Years Inpatient Pharmacy experience
