Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures across IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings following department procedures.
• Set up imaging equipment and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies.
• Safely operate imaging systems and optimize acquisitions to support accurate diagnoses and treatments.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, applying age-appropriate care and radiation safety practices.
• Collaborate with the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager to ensure efficient, safe workflows and continuity of care.
• Document procedures accurately and support department quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Active radiologic technologist license for Georgia or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience or demonstrated ability in interventional radiology procedures; familiarity with IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional work is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform job functions, set up equipment, and position patients for procedures.
• Eligible to work in the IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings as described.
• Availability for day shift, 10-hour shifts, on a travel assignment basis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient safety and quality imaging.
