The Licensed Practical Nurse will implement nursing care plans and provide skilled nursing services, treatments, and diagnostic procedures in patient homes. They are responsible for observing patient conditions, reporting changes to the physician or RN, and educating families on care needs.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved school of practical nursing and hold a current state license. A minimum of one year of experience in a home health setting and a current BLS certification are required.

The qualified Licensed Practical Nurse administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Services are furnished in accordance with Boost Home Healthcare policy.
