The Family Coordinator maintains a caseload, provides direct care including counseling and assessments, and facilitates group sessions. They are responsible for coordinating aftercare services, managing medical records, and supporting patients in crisis.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree in human services preferred. One year of experience in substance use or mental health treatment is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to maintain therapeutic boundaries.
High Point's Plymouth Inpatient campus offers Section 35 services for individuals that have been civilly committed to Substance Use Treatment. These services also include acute treatment services (ATS-detoxification) and clinical stabilization services (CSS). These programs are staff secured units and not locked.
