The GE Technician Lead provides leadership within the service area and acts as a clinical preceptor for new technicians. They perform duties in alignment with hospital standards while maintaining a professional and positive environment.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED along with a completed PCT or MAT training program. A minimum of two years of recent GE technician experience and a BLS certification are required.
The GE Technician Lead, under the general supervision of medical and nursing leadership, performs duties in line with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values. This role provides leadership within the specific service area, serves as a clinical preceptor for new GE technicians, and acts as a key resource in the GE Center. The technician maintains a professional demeanor, adheres to dress code standards, uses courteous communication, and projects a positive image and attitude.
