Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you will be a vital member of our healthcare team, contributing to the mission of making communities healthier® through advanced diagnostic imaging. This role centers on delivering exceptional patient care using cutting-edge MRI technology, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses. You will collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff, applying your expertise to perform high-quality imaging procedures while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and patient comfort. Your dedication to precision, compassion, and continuous improvement will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the overall healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate and high-quality MRI examinations in alignment with departmental protocols, professional standards, and safety regulations, including proper patient positioning and parameter selection. Review patient histories and provider orders to confirm appropriate imaging, ensure patient safety, and uphold scope of practice. Provide clear, empathetic patient education and preparation to promote comfort, cooperation, and understanding throughout the imaging process. Administer contrast media and medications as prescribed, monitor patient status during procedures, and respond promptly to any changes. Assess image quality, make necessary adjustments or repeat scans to optimize results, and ensure thorough and accurate documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with regulatory and safety standards.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited imaging program (required) Associate’s Degree (preferred) ARRT certification (required) MRI certification (preferred) Arkansas State Radiation Operators License (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Minimum of 5 years of MRI experience (preferred) Strong critical thinking and sound clinical judgment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environments Exceptional attention to detail with a steadfast commitment to accuracy and patient safety Demonstrated compassion and a patient-centered care approach
