The Monitor Technician performs continuous telemetry monitoring under the supervision of an RN to identify arrhythmias and patient distress. They are responsible for testing equipment, reporting findings to nursing staff, and ensuring patient safety through vigilant surveillance.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate strong critical thinking and judgment skills. The ability to work in a stressful environment and obtain Handle with Care (HWC) certification within six months of hire is required.
