The Medical Assistant performs patient care under the supervision of a physician or Advanced Practice Provider in an ambulatory care setting. Responsibilities include assisting with examinations, documenting patient data, and ensuring compliance with health policies.
Candidates must be high school graduates or equivalent and have completed Medical Assistant training or have at least one year of relevant experience. Certification in Basic Life Support and a recognized Medical Assistant certification are required within six months of hire.
