Let us introduce ourselves HVCH is a 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a full-service Emergency Department, Urgent Care, and Surgical Services, as well as many Outpatient Clinics and Services, and a Rural Health Clinic providing Family and Pediatric care services.

We have over 350 employees who serve the residents and visitors of beautiful Logan and Hocking Hills, Ohio.

Your role as A LISW/LPCC As a part time LISW/LSW at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, you can expect to be involved in assessing, providing counseling, and managing patients, collaborating closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

To thrive as a LISW or LPCC at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, you'll need a robust skill set and a passion for patient care principles will enhance your ability to connect with patients and provide compassionate, customer-centric care.

Must have a current/active and in good standing license in Ohio for LISW or may be a LPCC.

Must be licensed or certified to provide individual counseling.

Master's Degree in Social Work preferred.

At least two years of social work experience in a health care setting and one to three years related experience with mental health or counseling preferred.

Ability to counsel both adults and children.

Physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities sufficient to perform essential functions.

Good interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

Must be caring, compassionate and have a strong desire to provide aid and make an impact.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Ohio license as an LISW or LPCC and be certified to provide individual counseling. A Master's degree in Social Work and 2-3 years of experience in healthcare or mental health settings are preferred.
