Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our friendly, patient-centered clinical team for the following shift in the Laboratory: Laboratory Services- Part Time, Night shift/Variable, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Base pay rate starts at $16.92/hr+ based on experience Shift differential pay.

Who We Are

HVCH is a 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a full-service Emergency Department, Urgent Care, and Surgical Services, as well as many Outpatient Clinics and Services, as well as a Rural Health Clinic providing Family and Pediatric care services. In the fall of 2023, we partnered with the Logan-Hocking School District, Nationwide Children's Hospital, Hopewell Health and others to build and open the Chieftain School Based Health Clinic to provide greater care to the students in our community. We have over 350 employees who serve the residents and visitors of rural Logan, Ohio. We are nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hocking Hills Region in southeastern Ohio. We are affiliated with OSU Wexner Medical Center and part of the Ohio State Health Network. We are rated 4/5 on Indeed by our current and past employees, rank in the top 20% in Wellbeing Scores, and we have excellent patient satisfaction scores: we are ranked 10th out of 134 Ohio hospitals!

Our Desired Candidate Successful completion of a phlebotomy education program or equivalent clinical experience as medical assistant or related certification preferred. Certification/Registration by a nationally recognized accrediting agency preferred. Must have completed phlebotomy program with minimum of 50 successful collections. Must have 1 year of phlebotomy work experience. Effective oral and written communication skills.
