Job description
Overview Interventional Radiology Technologist travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, starting 06/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,872-$3,019 per week. No guaranteed hours.
Shift
4x10-hour days, typically Monday through Friday with a rotating day off. Work setting is a hospital with a fast-paced IR service that handles multiple lines for the full system and outpatient services.
Assist interventional radiology procedures, scrubbing and circulating as needed, maintaining sterile technique
Operate and troubleshoot IR imaging equipment (Siemens Artis family) and monitor patient status during procedures
Prepare rooms, manage patient positioning, and assist with contrast administration under physician guidance
Maintain accurate procedural documentation in the patient record and communicate with the IR team
Support room turnover and department workflow, including patient transport and coordination with nurses
Requirements
ARRT Radiography certification (active) required
Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license or eligibility (can apply once offered)
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience; scrub experience required
Preferred 3 years IR experience in a large hospital setting with peripheral and neurovascular exposure
Ability to work in an IR department within a hospital setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment
May float to other IR areas as needed; ability to rotate with team schedules
