Intensive Family Support Services (IFSS) provides support services to the families of the mentally ill through a network of social, community and group gatherings. IFSS services include educational presentations, one-on-one counseling and intervention, as well as respite care to lighten the load for families caring for mentally ill loved ones. IFSS can help your family navigate the mental health system to get access to the services you’re entitled to. IFSS also seeks to help reduce the burden and frustration that often goes hand in hand with caring for a family member with a serious mental illness.
