Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in New York with Basic Life Support Certification. A college degree or diploma in nursing is required, with one year of medical-surgical or skilled nursing experience preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Provides direct resident care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) while ensuring safety, confidentiality, and compliance with facility policies and regulations. Administers medications and narcotics, monitors resident conditions, responds to emergencies, and assists physicians with procedures to support optimal health outcomes. Maintains accurate documentation, updates care plans, protects protected health information (PHI), and promotes a safe, therapeutic environment that respects resident rights and dignity. Supervises CNAs and staff, supports families during crises, participates in ongoing education, and upholds the organization’s mission through professionalism, integrity, and high-quality care.
