Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations using Philips MRI systems, adhering to department protocols and safety standards.
• Position patients, select appropriate imaging sequences, and optimize image quality for accurate interpretation.
• Screen patients for contraindications, monitor during imaging, and manage contrast administration per policy.
• Document procedures and findings in the EMR (Epic or equivalent) and coordinate with radiologists to ensure timely reads.
• Maintain imaging room readiness, adhere to infection control practices, and ensure equipment maintenance and safety.
• Collaborate with radiology team, technologists, and physicians; participate in weekend coverage as needed.

Requirements

• Active ARRT or ARMRIT license; MR advanced licensure required
• MRI Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
• BLS required
• Philips MRI experience required
• Epic experience within the past 2 years required
• Minimum of 1 year MRI experience; prior travel experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts; flexible schedule; no on-call
• Public transportation not accessible in the area; reliable transportation (personal vehicle or rental) recommended
