The Toledo Clinic is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA/CCMA) to provide clinical support in a fast paced Internal Medicine office located on Woodley Rd in Toledo OH.
Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants. Sign-On Bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT/A). For candidates that have not yet obtained or need to renew their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants will be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.
Assist physician(s) with patient treatment, prepares patient for physician(s), and performs various clerical duties. Works under the supervision of the Office Manager
Duties: & Responsibilities:
assisting with minor procedures/surgeries such as removing sutures, staples, moles, etc.). 2. Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.). 3. Escorting patients to exam room. 4. Preparing exam rooms. 5. Preparing patient for Drs. (i.e.: histories, blood pressure, vitals, etc.). 6. Sterilizing and preparing instruments. 7. At the request of the physician, calling in prescription refills. 8. Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments. 9. Follow up with lab work and/or xrays. 10. Administering injections. 11. Other duties as assigned.
• Clinical medical assisting experience preferred.
Requires a Medical Assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school and active credentialing as a CMA, CCMA, RMA, or CPCT/A. Clinical medical assisting experience is preferred.
