The Registered Nurse manages patient care episodes for GI and pulmonary procedures in a fast-paced endoscopy department. Responsibilities include direct patient care, supervising unlicensed personnel, and providing abdominal pressure during procedures.
Requires an Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing, a valid Minnesota RN license, and at least 3 years of nursing experience. BLS and ACLS certifications along with specific endoscopy experience are mandatory.

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced endoscopy department assisting with GI/Pulmonary procedures and recovery of patients. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and prioritize effectively is essential for success. RNs are on their feet most of the day and are expected to provide abdominal pressure during procedures. Positive attitude, kindness, and flexibility required.
