The LPTA implements physical therapy plans of care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to improve patient function and safety. Responsibilities include conducting home visits, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
Requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Technology and a current unencumbered license to practice in Ohio. Experience in geriatric care is required, while one year of experience in a hospital or home health setting is preferred.
