Salary

$70,865.60 - $81,660.80 Annually

Shift available: Full-time

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
  • Registered Nurse provides professional psychiatric nursing services for the Outpatient Behavioral Health and IDD Units of TPC
  • Responsible for the care and treatment of assigned consumers in accordance with accepted nursing and medical standards
  • Works closely with all TPC treatment team members and community partners to attend to the psychiatric needs of consumers
  • Interacts with consumers in a person-centered, trauma-informed manner and provides direct services in the area of medication, mental health education and care coordination
  • Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised

Required qualifications to be successful in the job

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Work experience as an RN in a recognized health agency, hospital, or health care facility
  • Licensed through the Texas State Board of Nursing Examiner (TXBNE) as Registered Nurse (RN)
  • License must be current and in good standing
  • Must be able to demonstrate compliance with TXBNE’s rules and regulations to maintain required license

Requirements

Must hold a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing and a current, valid RN license from the Texas State Board of Nursing. Requires a valid Texas driver's license and previous experience in a recognized health agency or hospital.
