Provide quality psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and medication management for patients within an integrated primary care mental health model. Coordinate with behavioral health and medical providers to manage acute and chronic mental health needs and substance use disorders.
Must be a graduate of an accredited PMHNP master's or doctoral program with a valid Arkansas license and DEA number. Board certification and experience in FQHC or community health settings are preferred.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is responsible for providing quality psychiatric evaluation and treatment of patients per protocol as permitted by license and under the supervision of the CMO, in collaboration with a physician. The provider will coordinate with other behavior health and primary medical providers and support care management within the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) integrated model.
