Coordinates patient care activities within the office and clinic, providing support to physicians through assessment and medication management. Responsible for planning and directing nursing functions while maintaining evidence-based standards of patient safety.
Requires a nursing degree (Bachelor's, Associate's, or Diploma) and current or eligible Maryland licensure. CPR certification is required, and two to three years of clinical experience is preferred.
Coordinates patient care activity on the phone and in the office and clinic, providing necessary support to the physician within established guidelines. Patient care activities within scope of nursing practice will include but are not limited to patient assessment, medication management, collaboration with healthcare providers, patient education, procedural management, and other duties as assigned.
