This role assists with daily clinical site activities and facilitates patient flow. It provides both clerical and clinical health care support to patients and families under provider direction.
A high school diploma is required, and vocational training in a relevant area is preferred. CPR certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
Min $22.28 Mid $27.38 Max $32.48 Recruiter: Elke Janeway JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the general supervision of the Practice Manager, the Medical Assistant I (MA I) is responsible for basic clinical duties required to ready a patient for the Provider visit in the ambulatory clinic setting. The MA I works collaboratively with the practice team to assure efficient and effective operations in the practice while maintaining confidentiality of all patients’ records, medical treatment and diagnosis and abiding by policies and procedures of the practice. EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: 0 to 12 months current experience providing or assisting direct patient care or graduate of CVMC MA Training program.
