The Physical Therapist is responsible for the examination, evaluation, and diagnosis of patients to achieve the highest functional outcomes. This includes developing and modifying treatment plans and providing patient and family education.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in physical therapy and a current Florida state license. Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification is also required.
Works with patients who have impairments, limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The Physical Therapist role includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions toward achieving the highest functional outcomes for each patient or client.
Education/Training Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy.
