The Occupational Therapist is responsible for screening, evaluating, and creating treatment plans for residents to improve functional abilities. They also supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and manage discharge planning to maximize resident independence.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program. An active state license and certification from national board associations are required.
