Provide assessment, therapy, equipment assistance, education, and problem resolution in respiratory care. Ensure high clinical standards and actively participate in departmental improvement and education.
An Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field and a New York State License as a Respiratory Therapist or Technician are required. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and recent acute care experience.
Associates of Applied Science in health care related field NYS License as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) OR NYS License as Respiratory Therapy Technician (RTT) with NBRC active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RESPIRATORY THERAPY GRADUATES: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy. NYS License as a Respiratory Therapy Technician (RTT) and must obtain NBRC credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within one year of hire. Ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrate clinical excellence.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Recent acute care experience preferred. PAY RANGE: $36.77 - $48.33 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14626 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
