As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with Interim HealthCare, you’ll help patients regain strength, improve mobility, and manage pain in the comfort of their own homes where therapy can be tailored to their daily routines and goals.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our highly respected rehabilitation team based out of our Manchester, NH office. Our therapists are valued professionals who work in a supportive, collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient care and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide home-based physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility activities designed to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and function
  • Observe patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy exercises, safety precautions, and home care techniques
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support individualized treatment plans focused on patient goals and quality outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and state and federal healthcare regulations

Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or certification in the State of New Hampshire
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Current CPR certification required (Monthly renewal classes available and paid for by Interim HealthCare)
  • Home health experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program with a current New Hampshire PTA license and CPR certification. Home health experience is preferred but not required.
